Les Bateaux du Pont

Bateaux du Pont offer you a descent of the Ardèche Gorges, in unsinkable, self-draining one or two seat kayaks and canoes from Vallon Pont d'Arc or Chames to Saint-Martin d'Ardèche.

The Ardèche is a class II river, meaning without difficulty, but some instructions are needed to ensure that your descent is made in the best conditions.

• You must be able to swim and be over 7 years old.
• Never leave your life jacket, it must be attached.
• Respect the nature reserve.
• Take your waste back to the start.
• Wild camping is prohibited, camping is only allowed at the official paid for bivouac areas with facilities (Gaud and Gournier).
• Boat access into the Ardèche Gorges nature reserve is prohibited after 18:00
• Also forbidden are: stopping outside the official areas between 20:00 and 06:00, and travel by night.
